Superior Labral Anterior to Posterior (SLAP) shoulder injury
A SLAP tear is an injury of the superior labrum from anterior to posterior, the top part of the shoulder socket where the long head of the biceps tendon attaches. It can cause deep shoulder pain, clicking, loss of power, and difficulty with overhead activities, throwing, gym work, and daily tasks.
